Chief Clarence Louie is the straight-talking Chief of the Osoyoos Indian Band. Their economic development team is creating big opportunities in the southern interior of British Columbia. Chief Clarence Louie’s leadership is well known (CBC – The National – Profile). Having studied Native Studies in my time at Trent University – he is well known to me as well. Meeting the Chief was an honor, as well as a breath of fresh air – a down to earth, gentleman.
Upon the Chief’s suggestion, we also included the newest generation from the community – the future. Thank you for spending this time with me Chief.
