The best way to make a room look spacious, is to paint your room in a light cluoor White / Ivory / Cream cluoors. You can also do other tricks to give an illusion of a bigger room.A huge mirror on one wall (or even on wardrobe doors), can make a room feel bigger. Or you can use mirror panels on one wall.Make the windows in your room seem larger then what they are. Put curtains (with light backgrounds) on the , and instead of just covering the window width only , add an extra 100mm (4 ) onto each side with tracking curtaining. I’d also make the curtains taller also. It will make the window appear taller and therefore the room. This is a great way to add drama to a room and make a window seem more impressive. This gives the illusion of big windows, which also enhances how you view a room.Make sure there is adequate lighting. Lighting in the right places, also enhances the room making you feel it’s bigger.Dark lighting and dark cluoors closes a room in.Wash one wall with lighting will also give the illusion of a larger room.Glass tables instead of wood Glass furniture appears invisible and the visual space freed up by using glass or transparent, clear materials instead of opaque objects would make the room look more spacious. Get larger furniture ..other words, instead of choosing a smaller sofa, loveseat, chair, coffee table, and end tables to crowd into your living room, cut back and upscale. Choose a larger set, but use only the sofa, chair, and one end table. Instead off covering the walls with all your pictures, choose a few of the larger pieces or arrangements and arrange them to compliment your furniture placement. Set some of your larger furniture pieces at a diagonal. This works because the longest straight line in any given room is it’s diagonal. When you place your furniture at an angle, it leads the eye along the longer distance, rather than the shorter wall. As an added bonus, you often get some additional storage space behind the piece in the corner, too! tips.I’ve got this book called:Speed Cleaning by Shannon Lush Jennifer Fleming(This book applies good cleaning tips and how to organise)Debt free, cashed up and laughing: The cheapsakes way to living the good life by Cath Armstrong Lea-Anne Brighton.(This book has some good cleaning recipes in it, which don’t cost a fortune and can minimumalise costs instead of buying chemical cleaners) Mark is the best window my company has ever used.
